marathon
An event or activity that requires prolonged effort or endurance. charles and i have a marathon today. haha. before the marathon, i went for a hair cut first. is where weiyuan always go for haircut "pointer salon" located at far east plaza level 4 which was recommended by charles. price is quite reasonable for a salon located in Central Business District(CBD) area. the staff working in the salon is friendly too. no wonder so crowded today.
charles called right on time when i just finish my haircut and we start our shopping marathon. haha. 1st destination far east plaza. wanted to buy some clothes for ourself but after walking up and down each floor, touring in and out each shops, cant find a item that catch our sight. so we went to 2nd destination takashimaya. when reached takashimaya i went straight to kinokuniya to search for my books..haha dragging charles along *evil* hehe. endup we were inside the bookstore for more than 3hours.. woo~ didn't know kinokuniya is so big that take so long to explore finish. flip through alot of different type of books, from marketing to medical, from medical to interior design, from interior design to management, from management to comic drawing and so on... the list go on and on and on and on and on and on.. found a total of 2 books and 3 books are out of stock. sadded. asked the salegirl if wanna a special order for the book need how long, the reply is need to wait about 6-7weeks.. oh my god *fainted*. then we left kino at about 7 plus and went some restaurant i think the name should be something "pepper lunch" to have our dinner. charles order a mug of coffee which cost him $2.50 haaha.
after dinner, charles wanna to shop for perfume too. so we went for a perfume hunt! endup never buy cause 50ml cost $55 for the brand he want. after so many brand and type of perfume tested, i prefer Estée Lauder - pleasures the fragrance fresh as flowers after the rain, Estée Lauder pleasures perfectly captures the modern taste for light, transparent fragrances. It is a delightful sheer floral created from lilies and peonies, jasmine and Karo-Karounde blossoms, all tingling with the rare essence of exotic Baie Rose.
3rd destination heeren, we do the same routine again... up and down, in and out. world cup soccer fever is soooooo high, that every cloth, bag, shoe, etc... were all printed with country flag or name on it. spoil the mood of buying. decided not to buy anything and went home. the time is 930pm.. so we total used 6hours to do our manathon. wooo~ shiok. haha. by the way, GSS is fake, all the new arrivals stuff dun have discount. =x would try to have longer manathon next time.. i think i should try it on thursday again with my cousins ^_^
